The Kapunda Heritage Trail meanders ten kilometres through the town, allowing the opportunity to see some of the town's historic places, buildings and remnants of previous lifestyles that have shaped Kapunda's history and character.
The Lomandra Walking Trail opened in April 2010 and is a two and a half hour return walk beside the Blyth Golf Course. Hundreds of local provenance plants line the walk, many with descriptive signage. In winter and spring the walk has wide views across the Blyth Plains to the Clare Hills and Hummocks Ranges. The walk has a gentle gradient and is suitable for all ages. Visitors can also take in a game of golf starting from the Clubhouse (a winter/spring course only) at very low fees.
The Kidman Connection is a self walking or driving tour of Kapunda highlighting places connected with Cattle King Sir Sidney Kidman, by following a detailed self guided brochure available from the Kapunda Visitor Information Centre.
